Where we are

There is a regular “Aerobus Service” directly from “Guglielmo Marconi” Airport to Bologna Central Station (shuttle aerobus.bo.it). The fare is 6,00 euros each way and the journey takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes (aerobus.bo.it). We are within 15 minutes’ walk of the Station:

• cross Piazza delle Medaglie d’Oro
• then walk Via Indipendenza to the corner of Via Irnerio
• along Via Irnerio until you reach Via Mascarella
• go straight on the right hand side along via Mascarella for about 300 meters until you reach number 26, you are at the Steam House!

If you prefer you can reach the Steam House by bus number 36 from the Central Station (direction “Ospedale Bellaria”) or by bus number 37 (direction “Bombicci”)
Both buses can be boarded just in front of the central station and they go to Via Irnerio (Bus stop “San Donato”) then walk to the corner with Via Mascarella, walk on the left hand side and go straight on to number 26.

IMPORTANT: the centre of bologna is closed to traffic. A ZTL ticket to authorise admission costs 6 Euros per day.
From the motorway take exit “Fiera” and follow directions to “Centro Città”. When you reach Via Irnerio watch out for Via Mascarella which is located in a side street of Via Irnerio.
As via Mascarella is a pedestrianised area of the historical city centre you will need to park your car in Via Irnerio and walk 300 meters until you reach the Steam House at No 26 Via Mascarella.
It is also possible to park your car in the public parking areas of Via Irnerio (2,40 euros /hour) – note that parking here is free from 8 p.m to 8 a.m and during public holidays.
Underground parking is also available in Piazza VIII agosto (2,50 Euros /hour)
